The why behind this blog

Published: | Last updated:

I started this blog to have a drive to share some of the things I learn and I feel are worth sharing. This is not by any means a place intended to educate people on best practices or how to do things (you already have a gazillion resources available if that’s what you’re looking for).

I follow Zettelkasten for note-taking, specifically using Sönke Ahrens’s approach with Logseq.

Sometimes (just sometimes), this method produces some original thoughts that are not already covered by anyone (that I know of, obviously) on the internet. Whenever I stumble upon any of those thoughts, I try to structure them and showcase them, just in case a tiny drop of new content in a sea of AI slop can make any difference to anyone, anytime.

What do I post about

Can be anything, I write here not as an engineer but also as a human being, so take into account the source of what I share is my own living experience (both at work and outside of it).

I think in today’s world, understanding and connecting ideas through basic logical processes is becoming rarer by the day. Skills (hard ones) such as the analytic-synthetic method, reasoning by analogy and coming up with plausible new thinking venues through induction-deduction are dying out, at least outside academy.

What used to be common some years ago, that is, to find genuine, original ideas, has become the exception. That’s why I think anything original is worth sharing.

I created tags to make it easier in case you want to find info on particular topics, and you’ll find them at the bottom of every post, in case you want to keep reading about the same topic/s.

How often do I post

As of 2026, I’m full-time employed, studying Rust, trying to remain fit and being a parent to a 1-year-old. So, if you are really that interested in the content, first and foremost, thanks! And second, you can subscribe to the RSS feed so you don’t miss on anything, whenever there’s any new post.
