This is the "me"

I am both questioning and optimistic. The former drives me to explore the world around me, grounding me in reality, while the latter allows me to transform the infinite complexity of everything into the soothing beauty of knowledge, helping me to accept my never-ending ignorance.

In my role as data analyst and business strategist, I’m always compeled to find the hidden patterns that mark the way to the not-so-obvious solution. I approach each project with a clear focus: turning raw data into actionable insights, because only from these we will craft insightul actions.

I am myself and my circumstances; if I do not overcome them, I do not overcome myself.

– Ortega y Gasset.

Resume

My drivers

These two forces shape every decision in my work (and in my life).

Data

Never before in human history have we been able to acquire, analyze, and profit from data as we do currently. To ignore this today is to overlook a key aspect of human evolution. Data is the new black. Every decision should be preceded by a detailed analysis and framed within a thoughtul, strategic plan.

People

People –on the other hand– get increasingly distant, forgetting what has brought us here; humanness. Technology should help us be more us, not less, so in my work I strive to translate information patterns into impact in people’s lives, prioritizing solutions that enhance our collective experience.

My other side

Hey, I'm not an AI (yet). When I'm not working, you'll find me:

Taking pictures

L’Albufera (Valencia).

Photography allows me to (re)discover the world around me. I try to capture the idea –as in true nature– of things, becoming a mere observer and letting reality come alive by itself through my lens.

Reading

My eReader.

This old piece of integrated circuits and e-ink has been on both sides of the Atlantic running without much trouble since 2017. I read about 1.5 hours a day, so there are 4000 hours behind it. I owe much of who I am to it.

Training

Power cleaning 110kg.

I really enjoy moving weights. “No man has the right to be an amateur when it comes to physical training. It is a shame to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable”. Said Socrates, not me!
